On May 2, 2026, during the first day of Erasmus+ Week in Uzbekistan, a methodological seminar for universities of Karakalpakstan was held at Nukus State Technical University at the request of the National Erasmus+ Office (NEO).
The seminar was organized and conducted by Asiya Tureniyazova, Coordinator of the Erasmus+ DIANA project, as part of the Erasmus+ Week activities.
The event brought together representatives of higher education institutions, project teams, and academic staff interested in international cooperation and Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) opportunities.
During the seminar, the Erasmus+ CBHE DIANA project — “Empowering Women through the Development and Implementation of Rural Tourism Entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan” — was presented.
The presentation focused on the project’s goals, objectives, and expected outcomes related to women’s empowerment, rural tourism entrepreneurship, and sustainable regional development.
The seminar program also included recommendations on developing successful Erasmus+ CBHE project proposals, followed by an interactive Q&A session with participants.
The event was supported by the National Erasmus+ Office, and materials from the seminar, including photographs, participant lists, and a university Telegram post, were prepared as part of the dissemination activities.
