On 28 September 2026, the second round of the DIANA Training of Trainers Programme – ToT2: Entrepreneurship Fundamentals & Teaching Methodologies officially commenced in an online format.
The training brings together participants from the DIANA project partner institutions. All previously involved participants successfully joined the first session, while several new participants also became part of the programme, further expanding the professional network and exchange of experience within the project.
The first day of the training was dedicated to entrepreneurship fundamentals, strategic planning, and the development of rural tourism products and experiences. The session provided participants with practical knowledge and useful tools for understanding how entrepreneurial ideas can be developed, structured, and transformed into sustainable initiatives in the field of rural tourism.
Special attention was given to the role of strategic thinking in tourism entrepreneurship, the identification of local resources and opportunities, and the creation of tourism products that reflect the authentic cultural, natural, and social characteristics of rural destinations.
The training also created an interactive environment in which participants were able to exchange ideas, discuss practical approaches, and share their professional experiences. The involvement of both continuing and new participants contributed to a broader exchange of perspectives and strengthened cooperation among the DIANA project partners.
The knowledge and methodologies introduced during the first training day will support participants in developing entrepreneurial competencies and will further contribute to the preparation of educators and trainers capable of promoting innovative and sustainable entrepreneurship in rural tourism.
The ToT2 programme will continue for three days, combining entrepreneurship-related topics with modern active teaching methodologies and skills enhancement.
